Two weekends ago over 12,000 runners and walkers competed in the Victoria Marathon. It’s a fun and community focused event. As part of the weekend there are ample activities such as a 1km kids run and an 8km run. Many children participate in both these events. My son William, who is twelve, entered and finished the 8km distance. I am a super proud mom, especially since he confided that there were times he wanted to quit!
